About the Speakers
Jay Paul Gundotra
Jay Paul Gundotra (MCP,MCT,MCSE, CompTIA) is the founder of ENow, inc. He has over 15 years experience in network computing. Jay has designed, deployed, administered, and consulted on Microsoft Exchange server since version 4.0 was released in 1996 for various organizations including Getronics, Small Business Administration, Storage USA, Westfield, J2 Global Communications, Visa, DS Waters, and Fox Television. He has designed Windows 2000 networks for private companies with as many as 15,000 workstations nation wide. He has experienced the entire spectrum of IT services from development of software to managing a global IT team for an enterprise company. Jay is also an instructor and has delivered training to the government. He has also spoken at various Microsoft events including the Microsoft Exchange Conference.
Andy Grogan
Andy Grogan has been deploying messaging solutions with Microsoft Exchange since the products beta. During this period, Andy has deployed Microsoft Exchange to over 165,000 seats and 9,000 customers. In addition to being a renowned Exchange expert, Andy believes in giving back to the Exchange community. He regularly spends time writing technical articles that assist exchange administrators all around the world.
Originally, Andy started out as an IT manager for a large Senior school in London, where in addition to his technical duties he also taught the programming elements of the Advanced Level Computer Science qualification using Object Pascal. Andy next joined one of London’s largest Local Government Borough’s as the deputy manager of the Schools IT support service. During this period his team looked after 900 customers spread across 80 geographically separate locations.
Andy has recently focused his energies on Exchange 2007 as more and more companies are recognizing the benefits that the new message platform brings. Currently Andy has deployed over 25,000 seats of Exchange 2007 and is currently working on a migrating a customer that has in excess of 150, 000 seats to a CCR high availability implementation of Exchange 2007. |
