If you're like most people I know, then I'm guessing you've got passwords up the wazoo. You've got them written on sticky notes stuck to your PC monitor, saved as notes in your Outlook folder, jotted down in your Blackberry, and who knows how many other places. It's no wonder that analysts say more than 30% of help desk requests pertain to password issues...and they cost between $30-$60 per call!

It's an ingenious tool that allows network users to create (and reset) a single password that they can use for all the internal business system they access. It supports a long list of operating systems, databases, directories and applications so it can keep them all synched up.

Recent product updates have added enhanced platform support for both DirectAudit and DirectControl.

• DirectAudit 1.0.2 adds support for Debian Linux 4.0; Novell OpenSUSE Linux and Red Hat Fedora.
  
• DirectControl 4 now supports Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS/ES/WS 4.0 on PowerPC. The PowerPC agent also includes NIS support.
  
• Samba for DirectControl 4 is now available, based on Samba 3.0.27a.

Access Your Postini Message Center Right from Outlook
Did you know there’s a quick and easy way to access your Postini Message Center right from Microsoft Outlook? It's simple!

1. Open Outlook and right click on your ‘Junk E-mail’ folder
2. Select ‘Properties’, then select the ‘Home Page’ tab
3. In the ‘Address’ field enter http://login.postini.com/exec/login
4. Check the ‘Show home page by default for this folder’ box

That's it! Now, when you open your ‘Junk E-mail’ folder within Outlook, you'll automatically be taken to the Postini Message Center and your Message Quarantine Folder. Pretty cool!
